Position Summary:
This position is part of the mailroom unit in Channel Management and is responsible for a variety of tasks such as driving a box truck / van to pick up mail from the post office and deliver mail to five Topeka locations, counting and cutting envelopes, sorting mail to 23 different business areas, processing certified mail, researching unidentified mail and assisting with daily mail reports. Requires lifting boxes of documents weighting up to 50 pounds. operating Send pro for mailing FedEx packages. After mail is properly processed, will work in other Channel areas, opening mail, scanning and data entry. May be required to work additional hours during high volume mail periods.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, editing, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate would have experience conducting research, working in an office team environment and the ability to adapt to situations.
