TheWell MedSenior Center Receptionist is responsible for all reception and front office duties, including attending to visitors and responding to telephonic and in-person inquiries. This position also assists other Well Med Senior Services staff members with various clerical duties as necessary, including photocopying, faxing, distributing mail, and filing.

Schedule:Monday-Wednesday – 8-8-4 hour days or Wednesday-Friday – 8-8-4 hour days

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides general administrative and clerical support, including answering telephones, and screening, and direct calls

Answers phone courteously and promptly and prioritizes the distribution of messages in a timely manner

Greets members as they enter and depart the senior center

Directs members, customers, and guests to correct destination

Registers new members and schedules appointments

Maintains the cleanliness of the reception area

Maintains a pleasant, front office demeanor

Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

2+ years of customer and/or clerical experience

2+ years of experience / knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Intermediate level of verbal and writtencommunication skills

Preferred

Qualification:

Bilingual in English and Spanish
