Position Summary
Under general supervision from the Division of Animal Care Business Manager the incumbent performs duties in support of supply chain operations for all LSUHSC Division of Animal Care Facilities. Consistent attention to detail is required. Incumbent generates and maintains records of qualified vendors and procurement transactions following state and university procurement policies and procedures. Incumbent will cross-train in some areas in order to serve as a short-term backup for other Administrative or Department Coordinators in their absence.

LSU Health New Orleans Division of Animal Care is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Administrative Coordinator 1,2,3, or 4.

This position is part of a Career Progression Group.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Generate and maintain requisitions using the purchasing module of the PeopleSoft Financials Database
Place orders for goods and services pre-authorized by the Division of Animal Care’s Business Manager or Director using an LSUHSC issued credit card (LaCarte P-Card)
Reconcile all charges made during the billing cycle and prepare and submit electronic copies of all invoices, receipts, and charge credits along with signed P-Card log to the LaCarte Administrator on a monthly basis. Inform staff of any issues related to charge requests
Process direct paycheck request forms, reimbursements, travel expense voucher forms and check payments as needed
Input data and necessary related information into complex animal population database (MS Access) which is used to generate monthly itemized Internal Transaction (IT) billing statements for animal husbandry services. Prepare cage cards
Receive incoming supplies/packages
