As part of the Workplace Solutions team, this role provides support to Thrivent employees and external partners by managing service contracts for food service, vending, janitorial, centralized office supplies, and other key community programs to enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities include planning and workplace coaching, onboarding, and employee engagement activities. The role involves receiving and processing service requests related to building spaces, equipment, furniture, moves, ergonomics, maintenance, meetings/events, wellness amenities, cleaning, and related services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage daily office functions including food service, vending, janitorial, and supplies.
Manage budgets for workplace programs; review invoices, track expenses, and perform audits as needed.
Support projects to improve workplace performance; collaborate with HR and external vendors on day-to-day needs and long-term projects.
Provide project management and support decision-making on workplace issues related to cost, schedule, and quality.
Manage procurement processes and relationships with contractors and vendors, including RFPs, bid reviews, and invoice approvals.
Design and implement on-site employee engagement activities, such as sustainability initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
Coordinate requirements for meetings, events, and workplace activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage security requirements for on-site service providers.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support management objectives.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; preferred experience in office and facilities management; credentialing in facilities management (e.g., FMP).
At least three years of experience in facilities, office management, procurement, or similar.
Strong financial skills related to expense and budget management.
Interest in employee experience, sustainability, and wellness.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Effective time management and multi-tasking skills with a customer focus.
Knowledge of contracts, SLAs, and vendor management.
Ability to influence and build trust across organizational levels.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this full-time role is $62,633 – $84,739 annually, depending on various factors including location, experience, and skills. The actual offer will be determined accordingly.
