The Role

We're looking for a proactive and creative Social Media & Admin Assistant to support our Adelaide campus. This is a hands-on, varied position that blends content creation with everyday administrative support — perfect for someone who is comfortable switching between writing Instagram captions in the morning and helping coordinate student communications in the afternoon.

This role suits a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional looking to build real-world experience in a higher education environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

•  Assist in creating and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok

•  Capture short-form video content (Reels, Stories) at campus events and day-to-day moments

•  Support the execution of social media campaigns aligned to intake periods and promotions

•  Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and flag key interactions to the marketing team

•  Assist with basic design tasks using Canva or similar tools

•  Contribute ideas for trending content formats relevant to student audiences

Administrative Support

•  Provide general admin assistance to the Executive Officer and campus team

•  Assist with data entry, document formatting, and maintaining records

•  Support student communications — emails, notices, and event logistics

•  Help coordinate campus events, open days, and student orientations

•  Assist with filing, scanning, and organising physical and digital documents

•  Perform ad hoc tasks as directed by senior staff

What We're Looking For

Essential

•  Passion for social media and an understanding of current trends (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)

•  Strong written communication skills in English

•  Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball

•  Comfortable working onsite at our Adelaide campus

•  Friendly and professional — you'll be interacting with students and staff

•  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desirable

•  Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools

•  Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite)

•  Previous admin or customer service experience

•  Currently studying or recently graduated (Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or related)
