The Administrative Support Specialist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers and provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Human Resources. This role is essential in ensuring smooth front desk operations, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and supporting internal teams.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p, No evenings, holidays, or weekends.
Pay: $21.92-25.75 per hour. Varies based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors, answer phones, and manage front desk operations.
Maintain the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel.
Prepare and distribute board materials, agendas, and meeting minutes.
Provide clerical and data entry support to Human Resources.
Assist with internal events, special projects, and senior leadership support.
Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Draft and revise documents such as letters, forms, and reports.
Coordinate logistics for meetings and business-related events.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an administrative or office support role.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Professional demeanor and ability to work with diverse individuals.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background check.

Work Environment:
Clean, quiet office setting.
Requires extended periods of sitting and general clerical activity.
