Full Job Description

The Louisiana Supreme Court Judicial Administrator’s Office has an immediate opening for a part-time self-starter student worker. Successful candidates must be full-time students at an Accredited College or University (i.e., 12 credit hours for undergrads and 9 credit hours for graduate students) and be able to work 15 – 30 hours per week during the school year, with potential for higher hours during school breaks. Hours of operation are 9am – 5pm weekdays. Morning availability preferred. Work assignments will include front desk telephone coverage, data entry, assistance with various administrative tasks associated with legal work, organizing and completing large copy jobs, filing, and other special assignments as needed.

Required skills for this position include but are not limited to: Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook, excellent customer service attitude, friendly professional demeanor, ability to work independently, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge and/or experience with databases, also helpful. Candidate must be able to pass criminal background check, as well as skills testing. $10.00/Hour, plus either paid parking in the French Quarter, or a bus pass.
