We are hiring a Supply Chain Planner for a 1,500+ person Automotive leader in Indianapolis. $65k–$85K.
Looking for Recent College Grad with Degree OR 5+ Years Experience (No Degree). US Citizen/Green Card Only.
Position Summary
Seeking an analytical Supply Chain Planner to join the production scheduling team for a high-volume automotive manufacturer in Indianapolis. In this collaborative role, you will work within a team to track material flow, analyze data, and help coordinate assembly lines to meet global customer demand.
Core Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Work alongside the scheduling team to learn and schedule models and parts for the assembly line, ensuring smooth Manufacturing operations and Production Control.
- Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of shipments, receiving, and logistics to maintain precise Inventory Control and Inventory Analysis.
- Data Analysis: Create automated charts and graphical presentations using Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) for management teams and customers.
- Capacity & Forecasting: Assist the team in tracking Production Planning forecasts and Master Scheduling (MPS/MRP) requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- The Mix (Experience & Education): We are looking for either a Recent College Graduate (0–5 years experience) with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply Chain OR an experienced professional with 5+ years of Production Control or floor scheduling experience (No degree required for experienced candidates).
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is non-negotiable (data analysis, graphical formatting, formulas).
- Industry: Prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Tier 1 supply, or high-volume production is a significant plus.
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder. (No Visa, OPT, or CPT sponsorship available).
- Location: Looking for local candidates in the Indianapolis area or those willing to relocate at their own expense.
