Leidos is seeking Survivability Engineering Intern to join our organization for Summer 2024. The intern will support assignments that are technical in nature to support Gibbs & Cox Survivability Engineering department.

The Intern’s work usually relates to or supports current course of college/postgraduate study. Specific duties and responsibilities will be determined by management for each employee.

The intern will obtain hands on experience by working on real tasks supporting engineers within this department. Depending on our work load, the intern will have an opportunity to work on various tasks. Tasks may include working under the direction of a department engineer supporting deliverable development, data basing and metric development, reviewing drawings, specification interpretation, technical report writing, presentation drafting, and other administrative type tasks.

Basic Qualifications

Must be enrolled in Master’s degree program- Engineering or Naval Architecture

Previous intern experience supporting technical work

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 – $97,525.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
