As our Tax Specialist, you will oversee the end to end execution of daily, monthly, and annual corporate tax obligations, ensuring absolute alignment with Indonesian tax regulations and international trade laws. Your primary mission is to minimize fiscal risks, maintain meticulous tax documentation, and optimize our tax positioning as we aggressively expand both our massive domestic operations and global distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, prepare, and file all monthly corporate tax returns including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4 paragraph 2, PPh 25, and corporate Value Added Tax or PPN.
- Manage the issuance of tax invoices through e-Faktur and ensure all tax withholding certificates are distributed accurately to vendors and partners.
- Prepare comprehensive calculations and required documentation for the Annual Corporate Income Tax Return or SPT Tahunan Badan.
- Perform regular tax reconciliations between corporate financial statements, general ledgers, and filed tax returns to ensure zero discrepancies.
- Provide professional tax guidance regarding cross border transactions, customs duties, and international distributor agreements to support global expansion.
- Represent the company as the primary point of contact for official correspondence with tax authorities and support internal teams during tax audits.
- Stay continuously updated with the latest changes in local and international tax laws, fiscal policies, and government incentives to advise management effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Fiscal Administration, or a highly related economic field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of solid experience as a Tax Specialist, Tax Consultant, or Corporate Tax Officer, preferably within an FMCG, E commerce, or manufacturing industry handling high volume transactions.
- Possession of professional tax certifications such as Brevet A and Brevet B is highly preferred.
- Deep technical mastery of Indonesian tax applications including e-Faktur, e-SPT, e-Billing, and the DJP Online portal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for complex tax modeling, data cutting, and financial reconciliation.
- Outstanding analytical thinking, extreme attention to detail, and absolute integrity when handling sensitive corporate financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate smoothly with tax auditors, external consultants, and internal finance operations.
