We are looking for a Team Assistant to join the Benefit Street Partners (BSP) Business Development Team in Tokyo, Japan. This role has the primary responsibility to provide a full range of business support and administrative services.

How You Will Add Value?

  • Provide effective diary and email management support
  • Arrange internal and external meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate local and global video/teleconferencing requests, including room bookings and technical set‑up
  • Manage and reconcile monthly corporate card expenses and invoices
  • Handle all travel arrangements, including itineraries and visa applications
  • Prepare team meeting agendas and manage logistics, including minutes and action items where required
  • Provide on‑the‑ground support for internal and external client events and functions
  • Manage relationships with external vendors

What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role?

Experience:

  • Minimum five years in a team assistant or administrative role
  • A solid understanding of the financial services industry is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency required
  • English language skills are a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a high level of clarity and professionalism
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Soft Skills:

  • Confident and effective communicator, able to engage with clients and business partners across varying levels of seniority
  • Highly professional and well presented, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and clear decision‑making
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment
