Truck Driver-CDL A (OTR) Dry Van Jobs in Bellingham, WA at Acme Transport Ltd.
Polar King International, Fort Wayne, is seeking CDL class A OTR drivers for our expanding open trailer delivery fleet. We currently have openings for OTR drivers and OTR Driver/Operators. Founded in 1982, Polar King is the nation’s leading manufacturer of outdoor fiberglass walk-in coolers & freezers.
Our delivery fleet includes customized Kenworth tractors, along with new drop deck and specialized trailers. and are part of the nation’s leading manufacturer of walk-in coolers and freezers.
Ideal candidates are those looking for something more than just holding a steering wheel. Our Polar King drivers take pride in hauling our products, as well as setting them in place at the job site.
Candidates must have a positive can-do attitude and drive for customer service. We require a clean MVR and background and at least 1-year OTR driving experience. Construction or crane and rigging background a plus, but not required, as training is provided.
Compensation includes:
Mileage pay and paid off the odometer.
Oversize load pay.
Product installation pay.
Medical, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-term disability insurance programs.
Company matching 401K.
Minimum Qualifications:
Class A CDL.
Current long form medical certificate less than 1 year old.
2 years verifiable OTR driving experience.
Construction or crane and rigging experience a plus. Will train the right individual.
Oversize load experience a plus however will train the right individual.
