Job Description:
SUMMARY
A Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for prepping, scanning, quality checking and back prepping documents that are being formatted into a digital format. This position is located at a client office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficient handling of time sensitive and confidential materials
Use the Image Scanner to scan the customer’s original document(s)
Check specifications of scans for accuracy and quality requirements
Job set-up; networking (loading images and files)
Keep track of records coded
Data entry and coding
Prepare documents; remove physical breaks and place a “barcode target sheet” in place of physical breaks
Review all output images for proper sizing, resolution and overall quality
Back prep; remove all barcode target sheets and replace all physical breaks
Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required
Maintain a facility that is organized and meets our quality standards at all times
JOB REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience in operating Image/OCR scanner in production environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to learn the responsibilities listed above through a combination of in-person training and guided learning
Ability to multi-task
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Walking, bending, kneeling, standing and sitting including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100 lbs.
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
May be required to work additional hours beyond regular schedule to meet customer commitments which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
The Compensation range for this role is 16.75 to 20.94 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s location, skills, experience and qualifications.
