Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Document Processing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, batching, and scanning various legal documents, ensuring accurate reconciliation and balancing of all SOP volumes received daily.
Skill / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent some college preferred.
1-3 years of experience in customer service or related work.
Office/mail-room experience required
Experience with computers a must, Kodak scanner knowledge a plus,
Knowledge of Kodak scanners (e.g., Kodak Capture Pro – i4600 through and including 15600) is a plus.
Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute.
Navigate Department of State Websites Microsoft Office Email Etiquette.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to engage in process improvement initiatives.
Ability to independently in a fast paced and changing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Receiving legal documents via various methods (process served, certified, regular mail, courier, etc.)
Sorting, batching, and scanning documents received.
Reconciliation and balancing to account for all SOP volume received daily.
Utilizing Kodak scanners for document processing.
Engaging in cross-training opportunities.
Navigating Department of State websites for document-related tasks.
Engaging in process improvement initiatives.
Lifting documents up to 10 lbs.

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
