Administrative Assistant Job in Perth WA at Kennedys –

The purpose of this role to contribute to the effectiveness of the Perth office by providing comprehensive and efficient support to internal and external clients in order that the business objectives of the firm are achieved.

Team

Kennedys is a global, UK-based firm, and has had a presence in Sydney, Australia since 2006. In 2017, Kennedys opened an office in Melbourne, followed by Perth in 2021.As of July 2022, Kennedys now also hasan office in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

Court filing – both electronic and in person

Daily banking

To use correctly delivery labels and identify classes of all outgoing post in accordance with the Firm’s procedures

Document and package delivery and collection

Document archiving

Empty and manage confidential recycling bins

Archiving and retrieval of files from storage when required

To use the photocopying equipment to achieve copies of the correct standard in line with the Firm’s and department’s requirements

To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up to date diary

Monitoring and overseeing stationery and printer supplies

Attending to the general cleanliness of the utility room and general office area

Prioritise work to accommodate urgent requests

Required experience

The ability to co-ordinate work activities and prioritise tasks/multi-task

The ability to carry out duties and meet deadlines in accordance with instructions

The ability to perform tasks to a high standard

A high level of understanding of office applications and equipment required to complete your tasks to a high standard

Communicate effectively in a business environment
