We are seeking a reliable, organized, and creative Personal Assistant to support a busy Wedding/Event Planner and Property Manager. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and can work independently with a strong sense of initiative. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day operations, client and vendor coordination, decor research, and administrative tasks to ensure seamless event execution and personal organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support to the Event Planner and Landlord with daily scheduling and administrative tasks
Conduct decor and internet research for upcoming weddings, events, and interior projects
Draft and send professional emails to clients and vendors
Organize event-related documents, schedules, and checklists
Maintain a digital filing system, manage task lists, and assist with online ordering and sourcing
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and rental companies as needed
Perform errands and pickups (supplies, returns, etc.) when required
Assist with event prep, set-up/tear-down (as needed during busy seasons)
Support landlord/property management needs including tenant communication and organization tasks
Use tools such as Google Drive, Trello, and email platforms confidently
Provide weekend support remotely (via email, phone, or virtual check-ins)
Qualifications:
Must reside in or near Indian Head, Bryans Road, White Plains, La Plata, Pomfret or Waldorf, MD
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Flexible, dependable, and highly organized
Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support preferred
Comfortable working independently and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Tech-savvy and able to adapt to tools for productivity and organization
Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and vendors
Position Details:
Part-Time: 3 hours/day (3 hours flexible between 10AM–7PM, you pick your 3 hr window)
Availability: 7 days a week/ 3 hours a day, 2 days can be remote. Weekends may be in-person or remote depending on the activity scheduled for that particular day.
Compensation: Firm.
Contract Position. Full-1099 pay given via Venmo or CashApp
