Responsibilities:
Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as an Assurance Administrative Assistant might include the following:
Format and process audit reports, including financial statements, using Microsoft Word and Excel. In addition, types general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, proposals, etc.
Proofreads all work for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes.
Work with management to ensure that all documents are properly formatted and prepared according to Firm and/or client-specific guidelines.
Utilize ProSystem fx Engagement software to complete a wide range of tasks.
Prepare and assemble reports, company materials, and client documents as directed.
Thoroughly review formatting of final reports before they are sent to clients.
Manage and prioritize incoming workflow to meet all deadlines in a deadline-focused environment.
Perform additional general administrative duties for the audit department and office as needed.
Qualifications:
Who You Are
You have 3-5 years of past administrative support experience. Accounting Firm experience a plus!
You are highly proficient in:
Microsoft Excel: including the ability to create spreadsheets, perform data entry, use basic formulas, format worksheets, linking tables.
Microsoft Word: including formatting, creating tables, headers & footers, and utilizing mail merge functions.
DocuSign: including creating, sending, and tracking documents for e-signature.
Adobe Acrobat: including creating, editing, and commenting on PDFs.
Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
You are detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
You are able to work overtime when needed.
You love collaborating and being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision.
This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching, and the ability to lift 20 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation
$23.00 -$29.00 per hour.
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
