**Administrative Support Specialist**

We’re seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Tax department and Knoxville office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of our firm.

Role OverviewAs our Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, document processing, filing, billing, and assisting with various office duties. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The position also involves providing support to our managers and shareholders, including preparing and entering time and expense reports.

Key Responsibilities

**Administrative Support:** Perform daily administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and typing with a keen eye for detail.

**Tax Return Processing:** Assemble and process tax return documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

**Billing and Invoicing:** Prepare invoices for billing purposes, maintaining our firm’s financial records with precision.

**Coordination:** Coordinate appointments, travel arrangements, and other administrative duties as needed.

**Document Management:** Prepare documents for scanning and assist with maintaining client/target contact information.

**Special Projects:** Perform ad hoc projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

**Professional Conduct:** Adhere to our firm’s privacy and client confidentiality policies, as well as professional conduct standards set by industry bodies.

Qualifications

**Education:** High School Diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred.

**Experience:** 3+ years of administrative or executive assistant experience.

**Availability:** Ability to work extended hours and weekends during our busy season (January – April, August – October) and as needed for other peak deadlines.
