This part-time role is ideal for someone with an attention to detail and a high customer service touch. The role is focused on managing office administration for a mostly remote staff. The Office Manager functions include being responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of the office, ensuring a productive and efficient working environment. This role involves the following tasks:
Coordinating administrative support, including processing the mail weekly, ordering business cards for new employees, scanning and sending CEO business receipts to VES Accounting, and other tasks as needed
Managing the laptop inventory, serving as a liaison with our IT vendor and Ventus employees
Organizing and managing office and recruiting supplies, including setting up and maintaining files
Maintain inventory of office supplies, equipment and catering/meal supplies on hand
Supporting office meetings (on and offsite) and events such as picnics and holiday parties, some outside of regular business hours
The Office Manager serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and supports the organization’s overall mission and objectives
The anticipated work location is Remote, but with weekly visits to the Fairfax, VA Office to handle the mail (including scanning and emailing mail, scanning and depositing customer checks using secure phone app), scan receipts for expense reports, organizing the office space, tracking laptop inventory, filing, and other duties as deemed necessary.
Part-time: 10+ hours per week
Required Experience:
High school diploma
2+ years of relevant work experience, in a support role
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
