Why does the job exist?
The Office and Administrative Support III will:
Provide administrative support for the Southwest Regional Office (SWRO) and the Training Unit under the direction of the SWRO Manager.
How does it get done?
The Office and Administrative Support III is responsible for:
Providing support to include but not limited to answering phones, filing, processing training and travel, maintaining fleet of vehicles, ordering office supplies and postage, maintaining time sheets, distributing mail.

This position will provide administrative support to staff and Training Unit at the Southwest Regional office providing service to individuals and their families with developmental disabilities.
Ideal Candidate
This position will provide administrative support to staff and Training Unit at the Southwest Regional office providing service to individuals and their families with developmental disabilities.
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of directly related experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
. Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver’s License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment. Travel may be required with some occasional overnight stays. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Working Conditions
Office setting with extensive use of personal computer, telephone, fax, copier and other related office equipment that involves sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc., to include lifting up to 30 pounds
