About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and improvement-focused Administrator to provide administrative support to Financial Advisors and their assistants in their goal to secure and service new and existing corporate and individual clients for AF Retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of new business and collection of funds from internal/external service providers
- Submit to Service provider for investment
- Types of new business include:
- Preservation funds
- Retirement Annuities
- Living Annuities
- Fixed Annuities
- Endowments
- Discretionary Investments
- Life,
- Adhoc/Top up contributions into above
- Switches
- Repurchases
- Maturities – Linked and Life products
- Surrenders
- Values request
- Broker changes (new and cancel)
- Change of personal and static details i.e banking details, name change
- Retirements/Early retirement
- Withdrawals from compulsory and voluntary products
- Death claims
- Beneficiary nominations
- Tax certificates and queries
- ROT/Declaration
- Incoming calls
- Dealing with fund administrators as well as Fund Managers on escalating, queries from admin, and refer unresolved queries to Admin Manager
- Dealing with the Service Providers & Senior Management
Requirements:
- Matric
- Industry related qualification/certifications, i.e. Wealth Management course advantageous
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services industry (minimum 2-3 years)
- Practical work experience in dealing with financial products and procedures.
- Systems knowledge – Effective usage and application of computer applications (MS Office/ Word, Excel, (D365/Interface- advantage).
- Product Knowledge – Industry knowledge.
