Position: Auction Assistant for Antiques and Collectibles
We are a fast-paced and growing online auction company seeking a detail-oriented Auction Assistant to support our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Auction Coordinator to help ensure the success of our monthly sales. You will also monitor our eBay store which entails answering questions about the items listed. We also host an online service where customers may send photos of the items they wish to sell, you will be researching art and antiques heavily.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer pickups and general inquiries
- Assist with processing returns and coordinate with the shipping department
- Support the team with basic item descriptions and photography for auction listings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Provide ongoing support to the Auction Coordinator and team as needed
- Utilizing e-commerce sites like eBay, Live Auctioneers, Invaluable, and Bid Square.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and general computer skills required
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and maturity
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions while also working independently
- Ability to assist in supervising a small team (35 team members)
Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications:
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
