Job Description

:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Contract Administrator for our team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

This is a temporary (contract) role, with no fixed duration, which may be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a third-party vendor and assigned to Airbus in America.

The role involves supporting the Contract Management team with contract document preparation and records management, aligning with company policies, primarily for aircraft customer acquisitions.

Your working environment :

Located in a suburb near Dallas-Fort Worth, Airbus Helicopters’ U.S. regional headquarters employs over 1,000 staff. You might see a custom Airbus helicopter flying during Dallas Cowboys home games.

Responsibilities :

Quote Requests and Offers : 40%

Initiate quote requests following Sales Check List (SCL) and database requirements.

Verify configuration, risk assessments, and delivery schedules for quotes.

Maintain contract records per departmental standards.

Assist Contract Managers with proposals, proofreading, and record keeping.

Track in-process quotes.

Purchase Agreements and Contract Change Orders : 40%

Draft Purchase Agreements and Amendments using approved templates and supporting documents.

Maintain records for all offer documents and approvals.

Support negotiations through document revision and tracking tools.

Delivery Coordination / Support : 10%

Assist in compiling delivery documents, including final invoices, affidavits, tax exemption forms, and title transfer documents.

Prepare Promissory Notes and Security Agreements as needed.

Manage Technical Publications requests.

Liaison with Programs and Sales : 10%

Act as a communication link between Contracts, Offers, Sales, and Program teams.

Participate in sales meetings and functions as required.

Qualifications :

Two years of higher education, preferably in Business Management.

At least two years of business-related experience.

Ability to draft basic contracting documents independently.

Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Strategic and independent thinking abilities.

Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Physical Requirements

:

Onsite presence: 60% (initially 100%)

Daily requirements include vision, hearing, speaking, operating office equipment, and physical activities like carrying, lifting up to 10 lbs, sitting, standing, walking, and occasional squatting or kneeling.

Travel may be required at short notice and is usually rare.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes is mandatory for shop floor visits.

Must be a US Person under ITAR (e.g., U.S. Citizen, green card holder).
