Full Job Description

Southern Tier AIDS Program, Inc.is seeking a Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) Coordinator in our Binghamton office. This position delivers Evidenced Based Cognitive Behavioral Programming inside the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility (BCSCF). Provides confidential case management services to individuals incarcerated in the Broome County Jail and associated case management as appropriate. Provides navigation and linkages to participants, as they prepare to reenter the community, connecting to local health homes agencies, employment readiness, social service, and other critical resources.

Salary:

$30.22/hour working 35-hours per week, may vary depending upon experience

Excellent benefits package including: life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, medical and dental insurance, flexible spending plan and generous time off (24 days annually + 11 paid holidays)

Associates degree and three years of qualifying experience; Bachelor’s degree and two years of qualifying experience; or Master’s degree and one year of qualifying experience.

Qualifying experience means verifiable full or part-time case management or case work experience working with any of the following populations: Formerly Incarcerated; persons with: a history of mental illness, homelessness, and/or chemical dependence.

Organizational skills, detailed record-keeping, and communication skills are essential.

Computer literacy preferred.
