Front Desk Care Coordinator 32 hours/week (4 days per week)

As a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.

Schedule and manage patient appointments, including coordinating with healthcare providers and maintaining an organized appointment calendar.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information about our services, availability, and general clinic procedures.

Utilize a text messaging platform to communicate with patients, sending appointment reminders, follow-up instructions, and general updates.

Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with the completion of necessary forms and documentation.

Collect patient information, update electronic medical records, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient data.

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow andefficient operations.

Handle patient payments, process insurance claims, and maintain accurate billing records.

Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and managing office supplies.

Requirements:

College degree or equivalent (additionaleducationor training in healthcare administration is a plus).

Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare orwellnesssetting.

Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.

Strong organizational andmultitaskingabilities, with keenattention to detail.

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, basic computer applications, and a text messaging platform.

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.

A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in helping others.

Working Hours:

This is a part/ full
-time position.

Hours:

M, W, Thur – 8:30-6:30 with a lunch break Tuesday: 12:30-6pm
