Position: PART-TIME ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Assistant to join our corporate team in Bismarck. This role involves entering accounting information, coordinating schedules, handling communications and organizing resources to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, can multitask effectively, and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Essential Functions

Accounting: Assist with data entry, report preparation, and document review for accuracy and completeness. Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts, enter sweep account entries and support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
Office Management: Manage office supplies, equipment, and general organization of office spaces. Maintain inventory, process supply orders, and ensure office equipment functions properly.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars for team members, schedule meetings, arrange travel, and coordinate appointments. Ensure seamless coordination for team activities and project timelines.
Communication: Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications. Manage incoming and outgoing emails, calls, and written correspondence.
Event and Meeting Support: Help plan and organize company events, meetings, and conferences. Prepare meeting materials and distribute pre-meeting mailings.
Assistance to Management: Provide administrative support to leadership, including handling confidential matters, preparing presentations, and coordinating special projects.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical Demands

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

· This is a part-time position with flexible hours during standard business hours. The schedule is designed to accommodate various availability and could work well for individuals with children in school or those looking for a role that fits around other daytime commitments.

Required Education and Experience

· Associate degree or higher preferred.
