Job description

The Richmond Network Office is looking for a professional front desk clerk to oversee all receptionist and secretarial duties at our main entrance desk. Your central goal is to provide our clients with outstanding customer service and support. As the ‘face’ of our company, the successful candidate will be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people’s skills. You should have a talent for multi-tasking, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

· Greet visitors and direct them appropriately

· Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls as needed

· Maintain agency directory

· Train new personnel on how reserve conference rooms for in-person client meetings

· Process incoming and outgoing mail to correct departments

· Maintain the reception area and conference rooms

· Maintain coffee stations and hospitality suite – 2nd and 3rd floor

· Answer basic policy owner/policy benefit questions

· Complete and/or assist with projects as assigned by your manager

· Cross-train in other support roles

Recommended Qualifications

· Basic computer and Microsoft Office experience

· Customer service experience strongly preferred

· Ability to handle detailed work with high degree of accuracy

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Experience in problem-solving

· High level of organizational skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Professional office skills

· Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to be flexible and open-minded

· Ability to work effectively with people at all levels

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
