About the Role
We are seeking a PPC (Production Planning & Control) Specialist to plan, control, and monitor production processes to ensure targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery time. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-department coordination, and an in-depth understanding of production planning systems within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in the automotive company
- Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems for production planning and control
- Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and supply chain management
- Ability to create and manage a master production schedule and control work orders
- Capable of analyzing production data to monitor performance and anticipate bottlenecks
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work across functions (Production, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules according to production requirements
- Control material availability in coordination with purchasing and warehouse teams
- Monitor and ensure production target achievement according to the plan
- Identify potential production delays and develop contingency plans
- Input, monitor, and update production data in SAP or other ERP systems
- Prepare production performance reports and analyze deviations
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to prevent unplanned downtime
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
