Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, controlling, executing, and closing projects within the organization's portfolio.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, support, and guidance on project objectives.
- Execute project plans and actively monitor project progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and address issues, risks, and deviations from project plans in a timely manner.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that team members are adequately assigned to tasks and projects.
- Work with cross functional teams to resolve resource conflicts and optimize resource utilization.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders through regular status reports and meetings.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within approved financial constraints.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, providing accurate financial reporting.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
- Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Assess the impact of changes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Lead the project closure process, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related major. In addition to an accredited project management qualification such as PMP.
- Preferred Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector.
