AltGen is looking for a Receptionist to join a renewable energy company based in Stellenbosch for a 6-month contract starting in May 2026.

Responsibilities

Event and Meeting Support:

  • Assist with arrangements for office meetings and events, as guided by the Executive PA.
  • Assisting with room booking when required.
  • Serving refreshments during meetings.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, welcoming and arrangements
  • Set up office equipment for new staff, including VOIP accounts and printer access

Other Duties:

  • Support the Executive Assistant with various tasks as needed.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent; additional Reception/Office Admin qualifications are a plus.
  • Min of 3 years of proven experience as a receptionist, office administrator, or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Be based in, or close to Stellenbosch area
