Office Receptionist
An exciting opportunity for an organised, highly motivated receptionist to support us at our new office.
Dukes Education is a family of nurseries, schools, colleges and educators, brought together by a common purpose: to give children the foundations for an extraordinary life, through education. Founded in 2015, Dukes has expanded internationally over the past year and now operates schools in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Dublin as well as the UK.
In June 2024, we move to our new office in Victoria.
Job Summary
As the office receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and clients, providing a positive and professional impression of Dukes Education. You will be responsible for the efficient and smooth running of the reception area and support the office manager with maintaining smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner – providing excellent client service
Manage visitor sign-in and security procedures
Notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals
Handle post deliveries and pass to the relevant parties
Phone & Email Handling
Answer and direct phone calls from the mainline number
Respond to the general enquiries email and forward emails to the relevant people
Room Booking
Manage the room booking system for the building – coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and room bookings.
Ensure rooms are set up as per requirements
Other responsibilities
Act as the designated fire marshal (complete training and lead fire drills / evacuations)
Support with event set up as required
Assist with various administrative tasks as required – filing, document preparation
Ensure reception area and other common spaces are always presentable
Person Specification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in using office equipment and basic computer skills
