About the role:
I'm currently supporting my client in hiring an experienced Linux System Administrator to join their infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
- Collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure teams
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on Linux System Administration experience (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and KVM/LXC virtualization
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible or SaltStack, and GitLab CI/CD
- Good understanding of Linux networking and system security
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Ceph, DRBD, or S3 storage
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
