About Us:At RainCaper, we design and manufacture a collection of gorgeous art-inspired products including apparel accessories, gifts, & home goods. We sell wholesale to 1000+ independent retailers, catalogs, and museum stores using sales rep groups, as well as through multiple e-commerce channels. RainCaper is 8 years old with a loyal customer base, and our Fine Art collections and eye for design set us apart from our competition. The mother-daughter Co-Owners have several decades of experience successfully running small retail businesses. We work out of a spacious home office suite outside of Philadelphia.

Essential Responsibilities

30-40 hours per week expected

Doing whatever is needed to make the Co-Owners’ work time effective! We’re seeking the right fit who can understand the “total picture” and become indispensable to RainCaper.

Coordinating with our remote employees on needs, efficiencies, team building, and overall company cohesion

Scheduling meetings & occasional travel bookings (not planning events)

Following up on meetings, mail, owner projects

Organizing notes, digital files, and projects

Research requested by the Owners

Light HR support during hiring & onboarding

Mail: Open, take action, and file digitally

Prepare checks for bank deposit & coordinate payments with customer service

Keep office organized & stocked with supplies

Keep office inventory organized

Help with trade show prep & packing up samples (Approx 4x per year)

Product returns: Opening, coordinating with customer service for refunds, quality control & relabeling

Assist with new product samples upon arrival: Take Owner’s feedback & annotate photos to send back to suppliers

Light shipping: We do have a warehouse, but need to ship a several packages per day from the office

Monitoring email and highlighting action items while handling the routine

On-site Mac or printer tech support as needed

Work with Stock Assistant for occasional needs
